In this new class, preschoolers will be introduced to yoga and mindfulness in fun, engaging ways. Through songs, storytelling, and using our imagination we will explore ways our body can move, how our breath can help us to regulate our emotions, and ways that we can relax our bodies and minds. No props or experience needed. Everyone is welcome!
Colleen Smith (E-RYT 200, RCYT, YACEP) has been teaching yoga to children of all ages for 19 years. In 2014 she started BeLive Yoga and has been teaching yoga and mindfulness to children, families, and schools. In addition, she is also a teacher trainer for ChildLight Yoga and teaches people around the world how to bring yoga and mindfulness to children. Colleen’s passion is bringing yoga and mindfulness to children of all ages to help them learn skills to cope with everyday life and the big emotions that often accompany them.
