This two-day writing workshop with local author, Karen Hempson, will guide kids in brainstorming, writing, and editing their own stories. Kids must be able to attend both sessions. 

Karen Foresti Hempson is a  retired professor of social studies and history education. She has written numerous award-winning essays and stories and published a creative non-fiction book. She is awaiting publication of her YA historical fiction.
